  1. Stuck on stupid here. Can't find tab key even with a map. Help a newbie? On the symbols keyboard it is the third key up on the left side of the keyboard. It has a symbol that looks roughly like " - - >| " Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  2. Make sure that SwiftKey didn't get moved to the SD card or storage partition. Those storage areas are loaded later in the boot process than when the default keyboard is established. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  3. Be aware that changing your system font has the potential to break emoji. Look for unicode emoji support when selecting a font and cross your fingers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  4. 1. Access the menu via the "hamburger icon" (the three horizontal lines on the left side of the prediction bar). 2. Select the gear in the top row if it isn't already selected. 3. Select the layout options and try "compact" or "thumb". Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  5. What you want already works as long as you type the colon or semicolon before the parenthesis. Those two punctuation marks act differently than the rest of the punctuation marks for those of you who want to type emotions more easily. Just remember to type the parenthesis last. 6. You have accidentally switched to the compact layout. It is especially preferred by people using tablets or large phones. To change it back: 1. Use the hamburger button on the left side of the prediction bar to open the settings. 2. Select the gear icon to go to the keyboard settings section of the menu. 3. Choose the Layout tile then select "Full" from the options available. That will have everything back to normal for you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. I haven't seen issues like this pop up for a while. Have you tried Chrome or any other browsers? Are there particular websites that it happens on more than others, or is it everywhere using the browser? Also, one other quick question: have you power cycled your phone? 8. I am not certain of the length of the trial, but I believe that information is still being collected. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  9. Hacker keyboard is the only one that I know about with a ctrl key. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pocketworkstation.pckeyboard Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  10. The flow accuracy of this version seems much better than the last time I was using flow regularly. I love seeing SwiftKey improve! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  11. I have started out without signing in to the cloud or learning from text/email. I was planning on letting it learn from scratch for at least a week before signing into my cloud account. What approach would benefit you the most? If there are any other little details that would be helpful, let us know! A lot of us will be more than happy to help out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  12. I already miss the number row, but I will keep using this one through the trial time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  13. Yes, turn autocorrect off and a space will always insert a space. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  14. I also prefer to have two spaces after a sentence. I have had long discussions with people who say that it goes against modern style guidelines, but I will continue to do so because I prefer it. With the "quick period" option, your experience is the expected behavior. Anytime that you add a second space with that setting enabled, it will add a period (full stop) that will snap back to the previous character and leave a space after. To disable this "feature" : 1. Use the hamburger button on the left edge of the prediction bar to open up the hub. 2. Choose the gear icon to go to the Settings and Layout tab. 3. Choose the "Typing" tab. 4. Uncheck the box next to "Quick Period ". Oh, and the reason that your response got cut off on your first attempt is ironic. This forum does not support the native SwiftKey Emoji. You can only use the emoji built into the forum. I have lost several responses that way as well.
  15. I cannot speak definitively, but since I first saw SwiftKey healthcare mentioned in 2012, I have never been available for public consumption. I have always known it to be available as an enterprise situation. A quick search at Swiftkey.com did not yield any information. You will have to pose a question directly to the company to get any more information. Here is a link to the contact point on the website: https://swiftkey.com/en/contact/
