  1. Hacker keyboard is the only one that I know about with a ctrl key. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pocketworkstation.pckeyboard Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  2. The flow accuracy of this version seems much better than the last time I was using flow regularly. I love seeing SwiftKey improve! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  3. I have started out without signing in to the cloud or learning from text/email. I was planning on letting it learn from scratch for at least a week before signing into my cloud account. What approach would benefit you the most? If there are any other little details that would be helpful, let us know! A lot of us will be more than happy to help out. 4. I already miss the number row, but I will keep using this one through the trial time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  5. Yes, turn autocorrect off and a space will always insert a space. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  6. I also prefer to have two spaces after a sentence. I have had long discussions with people who say that it goes against modern style guidelines, but I will continue to do so because I prefer it. With the "quick period" option, your experience is the expected behavior. Anytime that you add a second space with that setting enabled, it will add a period (full stop) that will snap back to the previous character and leave a space after. To disable this "feature" : 1. Use the hamburger button on the left edge of the prediction bar to open up the hub. 2. Choose the gear icon to go to the Settings and Layout tab. 3. Choose the "Typing" tab. 4. Uncheck the box next to "Quick Period ". Oh, and the reason that your response got cut off on your first attempt is ironic. This forum does not support the native SwiftKey Emoji. You can only use the emoji built into the forum. I have lost several responses that way as well.
  7. I cannot speak definitively, but since I first saw SwiftKey healthcare mentioned in 2012, I have never been available for public consumption. I have always known it to be available as an enterprise situation. A quick search at Swiftkey.com did not yield any information. You will have to pose a question directly to the company to get any more information. Here is a link to the contact point on the website: https://swiftkey.com/en/contact/
  8. Are you on the most current version of the Beta? I had some problems with the top row of letters a couple of versions ago. I didn't have time to quantify or reproduce them, much less report them. Those issues seem to be gone in the new beta. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  9. If you don't have the number row enabled, "8" is the long-press for the letter "I". You could be hitting it accidentally. Try to look here in settings: 1. Use the hamburger button on the left edge of the prediction bar to open up the hub. 2. Choose the gear icon to go to the Settings and Layout tab. 3. Choose the gear icon for "More" to access the full settings 4. Choose "Keys". 5. You can enable the number row from this menu. and/or Increase the time on the Long-press duration slider at the bottom to keep from accidentally enabling the long-press character.
  10. Just an idea, try making sure that your phone is on wifi, then back it up. Possibly try airplane mode, then turn wifi only on and attempt to do a backup. If you can successfully do a backup under either of these conditions, it could help the devs be able to narrow down the scope of the problem. Hopefully that might help. Once I heard that an ipad had synced, it pointed me back towards this angle. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  11. As long as you just log out instead of deleting your account, you won't lose any information in the cloud or on your device. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  12. First, look at your cloud sync settings. Do you have it set to back up on a schedule? Is it restricted to wifi only? Have you tried to tell it to manually backup your data? You should try to log out of your cloud account and then log back in. Your learned language data will be on your device, so you shouldn't lose anything. If that doesn't work, make sure that you, or a security app, didn't restrict the permissions for SwiftKey to have network access. Unfortunately (unfortunately for this situation, but fortunately for my day to day life... Hahaha) , I am an Android guy as well and do not know iOS very well either. Ledsteplin and Martin23 are the two mods that are focused on iOS. If my suggestion doesn't work, they will be the most qualified to come up with more information. Good luck! 13. Hold your finger on my the prediction and it will give you an option to delete that prediction. That should sort it out for you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  14. Typically, this is not something that happens. It may have been a glitch after an OS update. Usually, it will show when there is an update available, like any other app.
  15. That version is over a year old (more like two years). As Prad has posted, here is the link to the Play Store And here is a picture of the current (or close to current) "About SwiftKey" screen.
