  1. Did I read the update log correctly? And did this bypass the beta stage and go directly to release version? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  2. For a text expander you should give texpand a try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.isaiasmatewos.texpand Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  3. @prad very thankful that sync is fixed but can we know what is going to happen with prediction of emails, numbers, etc..... Is it gone for good or coming back once everything is better? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  4. I got the update ( on apk mirror. There are 3 variants of the apk there: arm, arm64, and x86. Make sure you know which processor your phone has before downloading and installing. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk Go to apk mirror and you can get the latest version. Just make sure you download and install the appropriate one for your processor. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk Any reason why SwiftKey is not pushing it out to the store? I have a Moto Z Force. Not sure which version I need. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk Might be a staged roll out... Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  5. @prad will this roll out to the beta soon Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  6. Just so you know I don't work at SwiftKey nor do I have any association with them. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  7. That was long and winded for "A simple technology user" Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  8. Exactly, SwiftKey has been my go to keyboard for years and a simple mishap isn't going to change that for me. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  9. By using SwiftKey cloud you've granted SwiftKey access to your Google account. So the way I think this works is your keyboard saves predictions, then when sync happens the predictions get sent to SwiftKey servers then bounced to your Google account, the SwiftKey servers are the middle man in a digital hand off. I don't think anything is stored on the servers, I think it was more of like a crossed wiring scenario. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  10. Inconvenient as the situation might be, it's being worked on. That being said this is the first time since forever there was a lack of transparency regarding SwiftKey and the devs. The reason Sync was down and was a known issue was because SwiftKey knowingly turned off sync services to prevent the spread of other people's predictions. Which is great of SwiftKey. However it could have been handled a little better then turning off sync and not letting people know for atleast 3 days as to why sync was off. Then the moment when people started noticing that sync was not working just saying it's some server issues we are working on when they know what the cause is Maybe you could have said something along the lines of "Dear SwiftKey users today we are taking our sync servers offline to prevent the spread of other peoplew personal predictions we don't have an ETA but we are aware of the situation and are working towards resolving everything" Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  11. Since no one has given us news yet here's SwiftKeys blog post on the matter https://blog.swiftkey.com/important-information-relating-to-the-status-of-our-sync-services/ Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  12. Honestly, I think that this is directly related to the issue of users getting other users predictions. To me It seems like SwiftKey is in damage control mode right now. Not trying to cover it up but fix the issue and determine what caused it to happen in the first place, in order to prevent it in the future. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  13. So the two applications that I listed Clipper+ with sync Clipper sync is a system clipboard replacement and can sync across devices with a G+ account or log in. Everything that's copied gets saved and with sync enabled it keeps an almost limitless list of my clipboard. However it doesn't seem to captcher text fields that are displayed as lock font (what's usually displayed in password fields) my guess is that the font is a flag or trigger to not remember Type machine Is a keyboard logger, anything I type is saved and can be recalled, copied, and edited. But the application does not log anything in a password field. Again I think it's the font or a flag in the text field that the application looks for in order to determine if the text should be copied or logged. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  14. @prad the two apps I listed ignore anything in a designated password field Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  15. Personally I love the clipboard. I use Clipper+ sync and type machine to keep everything saved. It sucks to have to reopen clipper+ for every clipboard entry you want to access. Now with the clipboard I can open the clipper app and copy a few different entries and then paste them as needed form the keyboard. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
