  1. My top 5 (in alphabetical order, not including SwiftKey): Battery Widget? 2. Gave it a try on a JB rom and the phone became instantly unusable. Had to reboot in safe mode to remove the app. Oh well. Maybe an update will remedy the issue. _GS_
  3. I think I'll give this a try. I'll be updating my GNex to a JB rom tonight, so I'll let yall know if it is functional with that. _GS_
  4. I moved this topic to a more appropriate section. I have not heard of any plans to make a Windows keyboard. I know that the SDK was released awhile ago, so theoretically Microsoft could make a keyboard of their own with the SwiftKey "brains." _GS_
  5. Part of me thinks that is really awesome, and part of me feels like it may make the keyboard too busy with predictions popping up over the keys. Very interesting concept, nonetheless. _GS_
  6. Click on "More Reply Options" under the quick reply box. Underneath the new text entry space there is a way to attach files. After you "Attach This File" click "Add to Post" and you can move it around within the text area. _GS_ **I also moved this thread to "Off topic chat"
  7. As I said before, the best way to get your suggestion noticed is by posting here: http://support.swiftkey.net/forums/120339-3-swiftkey-tablet-x-ideas- _GS_
  8. I believe SwiftKey has a number pad in the middle of the split keyboard (I don't have a tablet so I'm not 100% sure). I suggest posting this in the suggestions forum for a future update. Include a toggle that either leaves the middle open or shows the number pad. _GS_
  9. I agree with Mike. iPhone users get what Steve Jobs wants, not what the users want. This is one of the many reasons why I prefer Android _GS_
  10. Having more choices gives it more opportunities to be accurate. SwiftKey is generally pretty accurate with my typing, but I'm sure if it gave more than 3 predictions it would show better statistics. I'm not entirely sure how voice recognition works, but I'm pretty sure most (if not all) of it is closely related to Google's Voice Search application. I know that speech-to-text will not work with SwiftKey unless Voice Search is installed (I had to figure this out when I flashed a new rom awhile ago). Unless AItype made their own software, it probably runs on Voice Search as well. This is just my 2 cents... _GS_
  11. The first thing I really noticed is that they have more than 3 predictions. I can imagine that helps a lot. One of the examples in the video ("tomorrow" at 23 seconds) is the 5th prediction. _GS_ EDIT: I also noticed that they use a Cloud based system. This means that the prediction engine is on a Cloud, not on your phone. As such, "prediction may be sometimes a bit slow due to insufficient Cloud infrastructure" (direct quote from their page).
  12. Are you pressing "Submit"? _GS_
  13. The biggest issue with this that I see is that it may interfere with the current swiping features that SwiftKey implements (swipe up for adjusting capitalization and swipe down to minimize the keyboard). _GS_
  14. The free trial of the current release may also be found in the Android Market by searching for "Swiftkey free". _GS_
  15. The free trial is equivalent in every way to the full version. The only thing is that it will cut you off after 31 days. I strongly urge you to give it a try. _GS_
