I love technology (particularly mobile tech) and cars (muscle, classic, exotic, import... I love 'em all). I am a huge proponent of Android. Of course my presence here as a Moderator and helpful hand also shows my dedication to SwiftKey.

  1. After a quick Google search I have determined that Wikipedia knows everything... Haha. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pokémon _GS_
  2. Hey everyone. It's been quite a while since I last posted anything here. I have a suggestion for the SwiftKey team. In light of the success and widespread use of the new Pokémon Go game, it may be a good idea to add the Pokémon names to the SwiftKey dictionary. _GS_
  3. Thank you for the kind words. I apologize for my absence lately on the forum. The real world keeps me busy. I hope all is well with everyone. _GS_
  4. My top 5 (in alphabetical order, not including SwiftKey): Battery Widget? 5. Gave it a try on a JB rom and the phone became instantly unusable. Had to reboot in safe mode to remove the app. Oh well. Maybe an update will remedy the issue. _GS_
  6. I think I'll give this a try. I'll be updating my GNex to a JB rom tonight, so I'll let yall know if it is functional with that. _GS_
  7. I moved this topic to a more appropriate section. I have not heard of any plans to make a Windows keyboard. I know that the SDK was released awhile ago, so theoretically Microsoft could make a keyboard of their own with the SwiftKey "brains." _GS_
  8. It's not the main point of the article, but SwiftKey is mentioned as the best option for a keyboard in the SGS3 review on droid-life (in the keyboard section of the review). http://www.droid-life.com/2012/06/19/samsung-galaxy-s3-review/

  10. Droid-Life posted about Verizon allowing customers to text 911 during an emergency. The screenshot uses SwiftKey 3 Beta! http://www.droid-life.com/2012/05/08/verizon-to-begin-letting-you-text-911-during-an-emergency-we-say-its-about-time/ _GS_
  11. Part of me thinks that is really awesome, and part of me feels like it may make the keyboard too busy with predictions popping up over the keys. Very interesting concept, nonetheless. _GS_

  13. Other than the wonderful praise for SwiftKey, the article also brings up what seems like a valid point concerning the use of two or more languages. _GS_
  14. http://m.intomobile.com/2012/04/25/swiftkey-should-add-languagespecific-settings/ Haven't read it all yet. Just wanted to post before I forgot. _GS_
  15. Look at the conversation he is having with himself. I'm pretty sure (at least it makes sense to me) that his use of "testing" was intentional.
