  1. I'm traveling internationally, I'll keep an eye out for the updates and try out the bug scenario after the update has been received. Thanks. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. Let me know how I can help. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. Confirming issue remains in received just now. Will wait to hear so I reduce clutter here. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. Let me see if I can reproduce again today, on the Pixel XL and I also have my Nexus 6P. Will report back. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk Repeatable on both Pixel XL and on the Nexus 6P both running the same version of (स्विफ्टकी) SwiftKey. Correction - it's in Inbox by Gmail compose window. 5. In the attached screen capture, with the most recent update, clicking on the predicted ठीक (when in Gmail compose) leaves "the ek", inserting a space between the two 'e' s, instead of replacing it with the transliteration. Hitting the space bar behaves properly. This behavior is repeatable on my Pixel XL running 7.1.1 NMF26O. http://bit.ly/2iAXRM2 Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. Basically a good addition, however, what this has done is move the exclamation point farther left and I use that alot and now I miss often. The Hindi फूल-स्टॉप full-stop is almost never used unless the immediately previous word is in Hindi - have the Hindi full-stop be an option only when the previous word is in Hindi and not otherwise to maintain spacing for frequently used punctuation. \eYeks Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. I switched to Google Keyboard and I'm going nuts... not sure which is worse... unlearn Swiftkey or deal with spurious characters... We gotta fix this! HELP!!! I want my Swiftkey back!!!
  8. The default is 450ms - I typically reduce it to 250ms, but since this problem started I've been increasing it back up to the default. That has not helped. This is extremely annoying, esp if an urgent message has to be sent. Thinking about the replacing beta with production version until this is diagnosed and fixed. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. To add to the nature of the symptoms - its like randomly the secondary character display delay is being ignored and the first tap is recognized as a tap with delay. For example, I have Emoji keyboard as a secondary key, randomly, when I hit newline, I am presented with the emoji keyboard. Hope this helps. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. This kind of lag is absolutely not normal at present. The Team works hard on lag issues and it seems to be solved in early this year. Are you using the latest version? Also, the "smart" thing that you talk about, things don't work like that way. And if you type fast, I believe the prediction bar will help you. I have been plagued by this for the past month... The (eyboard inserts the special character (see "keyboard" - that was automatically entered). I also get suggestions to forget a suggested word if I tap a prediction. It's like the long-press delay is being randomly ignored. Very annoying. I have considered leaving beta and going to the production version when I've been frustrated... This needs serious attention. \eyeks Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Lovely theme... but I need that Long-Press characters for reference ;-(
  12. When I use a light theme, anywhere, it just feels like I'm wasting battery - and in particularly in a dark room, a light theme is jarring! \eyeks
