Custom Word shortcuts

2 posts in this topic

I read a while ago that SwiftKey is going to introduce a feature where you can create custom shortcuta for words, where you could program it with 'gov' and SwiftKey would fill in 'government'.

Is this still in the works?

Hello,

The feature is already announced and added to the latest version.

It's combined with the clipboard. Tap on (or slide to the right) the hub menu key, tap the clipboard button, then tap edit clipboard. You'll be redirect the SwiftKey app settings. Now you can add a new clip, and you can see the "shortcut" is an optional box for the clip.

Best
