Problem with flowing short German words

Question

Hi!

Compared to other keyboards it seems quite difficult to flow short German words like "es", "der" etc. I think this needs to be improved.

Best regards

Hello,

It's actually for all the languages, not just German. And it's difficult to get it right because less letter we type, harder for the keyboard to predict.

Flow is a good and fast typing method, but not always the case.

I see, but it works better with other keyboards like Swype or Gboard for example.

In that case, can I trust you and ask you to do one thing for us?

As far as I know, there's none of us in the mod team speaks German. So, is it possible to make a small video of some sort of "keyboard Flow comparison" by swiping some short German words on the keyboards you've mentioned above?

If you have some free time and will to do this, I will tell you more details.

My impression is that SwiftKey needs bigger gestures/movements in order to recognize it correctly.

Before doing a video I'd like to know if other users feel the same...?

Sure. You can wait. But eventually we will need the video. A video speaks much better than a long text description.
